Glow-ry

This picture was taken at my house, can you guess what the object of which I have clicked the picture of? It is the most common thing that you find during diwali. Will keep it upto your mind.. but can give you some options to choose from :-
1) Diya
2) Lantern
3) Flower (sorry but I couldn't think of any other options, silly.. flowers haha)

This picture is named 'Glow-ry' as diwali is the festival of lights, crackers, celebration and diwali is mainly celebrated to mark the end of Lord Ram's long Vanvaas, after defeating Ravan, when Ram came back to Ayodhya diwali is celebrated. So the shine of diwali, 'Glow' will be a word for what people look to this festival today, this has just become a festival of crackers and lights and 'Glory' is contrary to the return of Ram to Ayodhya which is the historic part to celebrate diwali.
Hope this diwali brought you happiness and put an ending to your bad times.

Thank you.

Hypno-tradition.

This picture was clicked at Jain Temple, Amarkantak in my birth place Bilaspur. The last time I visited Bilaspur was 5 to 6 years ago. Like all the city, Bilaspur is also amongst the fast developing cities, my past memories with this city included that when I used to reach Bilaspur station, my mama (mom's brother, since I m quiet unknown about the words used in the family relationships so please try to understand) used to bring his bike to welcome us and we used to hire a Tonga (a bicycle cum rickshaw moved by a man) and there used to be so chilling climate that even sweaters would not be enough for their winters, tonga rided on the streets with small roads with a little source of light provided by the street lights. I remember stopping at a road side stall, selling Seekh Kababs ( my favourite), they used to be so tasty, like we can call that a staple food for the people over there. then we used to reach home, that days mama used to have an ice cream parlour, he used to hand over a ice cream to me and my sister before we slept. And many other memories are there.

Now, when I came to this place, the Jain Temple, its being under construction for last 5-6 years, and will be taking other couple of years to get completed. But this temple is a great piece of art, its the first time i saw a temple being constructed. The workmanship and the precise work of the labours there is too nice. As you can see it in the above picture, the work they did is too nice and done with love and perfection. This shows us how the madness and blind belief in god can bring you such a masterpiece in front of your eyes. Since many eras the tradition has played an important role in human life, but today we observe that this hypnotism towards our religion is bringing toll on us, political parties and different other factors use tradition as their strategies to come to power.
Tradition and religion are the most sensitive topic in the present era, thought this ear is termed as the most peaceful era but these two topics can spark a war in the whole world...

This picture, if looked gives a tunnel effect and this tends to show the hypnotism of the tradition.

Thank you.

R.E.D.

This picture was clicked at Gangtok. There are so many picture that I have to show you guys but time is the thing that restricts my reach to my blog. Exams are over now, so will be posting pictures till the holidays.

So, lets come to this picture, one of the random clicks that went perfect. The killer colour that gets in the eyes... red, so i named it R.E.D. which meant "Red Extremely Dangerous".
This colour is of a great significance for human physicology as this colour is a symbol for love and anger, with which the humans get easily caught up with... here is a poem which describes this colour..

red isnt just a colour,
its a feeling..
the colour that steals someones heart,
or the one who is healing..
cant forget the lady in red lipstick
nor the knife which was bleeding...
you see red in the caution board
and the valentine couples being rosed..
red is dangerous..
it loves you
and hates you.
Equally....

R.E.D. is one of the pictures from which only a particular things is given the whole importance and it gives out the entire meaning out of itself.

Thank you

Beauty of Sleep.

This picture was taken in Gangtok when I was on a road journey, we took a short break at a hotel from where we had maggie, the most expensive maggie I ever had, was of 50 buck! I was walking to toilet and I saw this cat sleeping quietly and with such a peace, it looked cute and the colour of the whole surrounding around was the same as the colour of the cat.
His peaceful sleep gave a contrast to my sleepless night which I had yesterday, my legs were paining very badly, so the whole time I had no one to talk to, so i wrote a poem.

The night went sleepless
mouth so dry, I was speechless...
Even the men in arms would have slept today
but the man in pain hailed his Black Friday..
Tried to sleep
Counted sheeps..
Tossed his pillow
just to hear angels sweet willow..
Made love his biggest enemy
Slashed by the pain was his only remedy..
Dont know why I dint slept today
Spine so chilled, any movement leads to my doomsday..
But the pain dint felt any cruel
My mind castle started to make her mural..
Compared every pain
with the touch She shared..
Lava of pain felt like a heap of  ice
Reminded to first time first time I looked into her eyes..
Pain is getting less
But first it was pain,
Now its something else..
Again my night went sleepless
mouth so dry, I was speechless..
 Thank you.

Living between the Spiked.

This picture was taken in Darjeeling, at the hotel in which I was staying.
This picture was one of my random shots, looked nice as the depth of the foreground and the background is having a good difference.
Its been time since I have posted a picture and sorry for that, my daily college routine restricts me from blogging.
This picture when I look at it, I get a sense of motion, like someone is dancing its heart out and the others are just watching it. Today, we have been so messed up with our work load and professional life that we started to accept the truth that we cant have fun any more, locked inside 4 walls, sitting a your desk just working would earn you money but at the same time when you are not enjoying, going out somewhere, life is useless.

Going by my example, I have loads of work, then too I take part in many stage performances, hangout with friends. Being on a stage gives you the biggest lesson of life..
Do whatever you want, live how ever you want but dont stop yourself just because the people in front are laughing at you..
Thank you.

Pre-monsoon sadness.

This image was taken near Charni Road, Marine drives. When I was waiting for my friends, I just took out my camera and shot some pics for a while and I saw this dog, roaming around.. looked like he got lost somewhere or is sad about something and thinking what he can do...
Sometimes, when everything goes wrong... you just need to get wet in the rain.. Rain takes away all the sadness..

In Mumbai, the starting monsoon month went complete dry, affecting all the people.. Now, since past 2-3 days its been raining heavily, some relief for the people around. Still being a kid, I love getting wet in the rain and splashing around small water ponds, but being an practicing architect, I hate rain sometimes when it becomes a barrier between my work. This face can also resemble my face when it comes to rainy season, I love it but I hate it too... it becomes a tough decision for me to choose fun over work.
Monsoon is something everyone likes, for me is like being with friends and going to Iran like tea shop and having maska pav and special tea or going to Badshah and having pav bhaji and then a malai kulfi (I am a big foodie, the list of the places where I eat most of the time goes on and on, if you are with me.. you dont have to take care of finding places to eat). Sitting with my friends in Marine Drives, enjoying each high tide waves.. Some of these things make me love my life and makes me sad of the bitter truth that these days are gonna last for few years..
Thank You.

Loculture.

This image is taken while travelling by a local train following my regular college routine. You may find the title weird, I have joined two main words (/worlds) i.e. "Local" and "Culture" in it.
Local trains has become a nervous system of Mumbai... today you cant imagine yourself without it..

This image is of the railing of window and over it was a garland of orange flowers (yes orange flowers, since I'm not a bio student, i cant go into specifics). I clicked this picture, and luckily the blurred background was also giving the orange flower a more shining effect.
Local trains has become a part of our life, since my college is in CST, I use it daily, seeing different types of people.. from office going man to a labour, its a whole world inside. Everytime I sit in it, in my regular timing train, i see same people around, each one of us smile at each other giving a silent greeting and this is what I call an "unknown friendship", we people dont know each other but when we see them in the train, we get a sense of relief... I dont know why this happens.. may call it as a human tendency.
The next part, when the train starts its journey, I hear many gossips and chit chatting of people with a track slamming the bunker sound in the background, now its raining here so a cool breeze passing by. Watching each station pass by, you cant wait to reach your destination, to meet the friends you always be with leaving the one who are there just for a few moments of your life with you.
Local train has become a religion, like a social gathering, where there's no racism, no rich and poor, its a complete world in it.
Thank  you.

The Truss Storm.

This photo was take in Raghuleela Mall at Vashi. This is the truss which if you see from entrance will  look like a monkey cap. This piece of architecture is a masterpiece in itself, looking at this picture it looks like a tunnel or a upper view of a storm. Three photos were clicked of this truss, all of them I shall upload because each one of them looks nice.
The color scheme of this image is same as one of my previous picture "Electric Angles".
Its been long I haven't posted any blog since I m busy doing assignments for my college. If I get a bit of time I shall upload pictures.
There's no end to my photographs.. There's no limits to my imagination.. Its just the deadlined work that stops you to do things that you like as you will spend the whole day completing work than to do what you actually want to do..

Thank You.

The Guard of Knots.

I dedicate this picture to the Mumbai police for protecting the city, this picture shows a cost guard boat patrolling the sea. This picture was taken in Marine Drives, that day was one of my friends birthday. While clicking pictures for the birthday, my eyes went on this and I clicked it. Two pictures were taken, in the first shot, the boat appeared on the lower portion and the other was the one above.
We should respect each police official for what they do for us, they have no holidays, less salary, then why do they still love this job? Its because its a great pride for then to guard this city and their people, and we should be proud to have them.
Work to earn respect... to earn respect, respect your work...

Thank you.

Where Man's world meets Heaven.

This photo was taken on my visit to Bandra Fort with my friends, series of pictures were taken on that day out of which this one was amazing and it had a concept and an idea in it.
This photo shows the Bandra Worli Sea Link and the high rise buildings present behind it which depicts the "Man's world" and on the right hand side is the beautiful sea and sun which is the "God's world". This particular image shows the place where mans world meets the heaven in a very imaginary way.
Today Man and God are two different players of the same game called 'world'....
The thing I liked about this picture is the distribution of the elements in the picture, the buildings and the sea and the bridge looks all so beautiful, and here we are observing both these world sitting on the mans formation using gods creation.
Thank You.

Portrait of a Dog.

This photo was taken on my way to Pelling, just before when I clicked Rainbow Cylindrical. I took 2 photos of this dog, one was of his full body and other was this one. I loved this picture, more than a picture, it looks like a portrait. His body colour fits perfectly in the background.
Look deep in to his eyes, you might be able to capture the emotions of the dog.
Thank You.

Rainbow Cylindrical.

This photo was take on my way to Pelling. These are raw chips which are later fried in oil and then is eaten. This is one of my favorite time pass food items which my mom used to make way back when I was small. The contrast in this picture is quiet high because of the vibrant colour scheme. This picture will remind many people of their childhood.
If you are having tough time to select which object to take photograph of, you are going wrong... each and every object can be taken photo of... you may never know the object you just ignored is the object you wanted...

Thank You.

My Red Mini-Helicopter.

This photo was taken on my last day at Gangtok, I visited a park which also had a waterfall. I saw this dragonfly and cilcked a picture of it. I took 2 picture, both were nice but this was the one I chose. Dragonflies is very much connected to my childhood, everytime I saw this insect flying around me, I used to tell mom that its a mini helicopter, and used to run behind it. Mini helicopter because the way it flies... its wings look like that of a helicopter.
Ever observed? That too in such an extent? That you start connecting natural things to the things you are familiar with.... Try it.. Its never too late..
Today I shall be starting off with my new tour to my birth place Bilaspur, in Chattisgarh. Will be bring you more pics like this. drop down your comments and share this blog if you liked it.
Thank You.

Alpines of Darjeeling.

This picture was taken on my first day to Darjeeling. This photo has got a change in focus and so you can see the front part so perfectly and though the background and the object both being of same colour texture, change in focus was required. The colour of the object has lots of light and its giving a nice effect to the picture.
Thank You.

The visitor from the Moon.

This picture was taken in Gangtok at Mount Siniolchu Hotel. This insect was just in front of my rooms door, when I came to my room, I saw it but I dint clicked the pic. I just looked at it and ignored it and after having my dinner and i was going to sleep at around 1:30 am, suddenly a picture same as the above came in my mind and it took no time for me to take my cam out and I went to take its pic.
First I took the shot without flash, it wasnt impressive as the area dint had enough light. But, when i opened my flash and clicked the picture... this was the result I got and yes i was very happy with the click I got.
This thing really looked like something out of this world... like something just came into Earth..
The background and the foreground and the main focus of the picture went in so perfect that I cant express you, this would be told as one of the beauties of the night wildlife. The white colour of the insect with black lines over its body and the radiating white background gives a meaning of something very alien... like someones came here to visit us from the Moon...

Thank You.

Waiting for The End to come.

This photo was taken in a zoo at Darjeeling. One thing I like about this picture is that, by just one picture you can built a complete story out of it. When i saw this picture I imagined the story of a father Capricorn waiting for his family from who he has been separated and then was brought to zoo. He knows, he wont be able to see his family ever again... but still he is waiting for them. All he can do is to wait because he knows, he is in a place where if a caged animal runs away, they are either caught again and put into the cage or are been killed. All he can do is to sit and wait for them to come or wait for his end to come.
Thank you.

The Observer

This picture was taken on my first day of the trip to Darjeeling, as soon as i left the Bagdogra Airport to hotel, I took a this picture from the car. Its actually tough to click picture in Darjeeling as it has got roads which exactly has width of 2 cars, so its not possible to stop the car and click any picture, there were many times that I looked something to take pic of and i decided its name too but as i go to click the pic, the car moves on or car starts to shake due to the pot holes.
Never feel low when you dont get THAT perfect click... you may never know what comes next.
Darjeeling is full of greenery and wildlife, you would see forests and waterfall everywhere, the time I went was a mixture of cool and rainy weather, on my road to hotel in Darjeeling, I saw many school kids and i was shocked to know that there is a public rail transport for the people in Darjeeling which is situated in a very high altitude, if you are planning to go there, you must surely look for Ghoomra railway station.

This picture has got a mild contrast of black colour of crow and grayish blue colour of sky, it dosent hurt the eye too much. The crow here looks like he is the observer of the moving world and depicts the life of the people in Darjeeling, slow and steady and the dont expect too much from life, all are there to help and there is peace of mind here, needless to say that Buddhism is followed here.

Thank you.

Buddha's Moon.

This picture was taken in Baudhpurnima festival, this picture was shot on my return from my trip to Darjeeling.
I recently went on a tour to Darjeeling, Pelling and Gangtok, thats why i wasnt able to post any pictures on the blog.
I started my trip to Darjeeling on 8th May, had a completely almost 5 hours of tiring journey to Bagdogra Airport via Gawahati Airport. The journey dint ended there yet, again 3 hours car travel to reach at darjeeling and another 20 min to get into my room and fall asleep...
In the whole travel around Darjeeling, the climate was quiet cool and fogs all around, seemed to be raining. The roads there were not at all good, as the places in nearly 2000+ ft above sea level, so there is a regular risk of landslides so the roads get damaged.
More to tell about my tour.. For now, enjoy the picture I clicked.
Thank you.

Living of Non- Living.

This photo was taken in New Panvel, Mumbai.
This picture has a blend of bright contrasts and the beauty of artificial material clicked in a way that it resembles like its natural or something one can just imagine.
This picture gave me a look on what we think of life. Life is just like this lighting flower... till the time it gives light and it is used in parties and after the light stops glowing, its of no use.. In the same way unless and until you dont have a bright dreams, you cant reach the life you dream of.
So try hard to achieve your dreams and live the life you dream of..
Thank you.

Splashed out of Blurred World.

This picture was taken at Pearls Academy of Fashion, Jaipur.
This picture was clicked at a moment, this was one of my random focused shots. It looks like in the world where everything is blur to the people, there was some one who thought in a different way and blasted out of the blurred world moving on and on where no one can stop you and all they can do is to admire you and see your beauty and just dream to become like you or hope that their successors will be like you.
Thank you.

The Temple of Symmetry.

This picture was clicked in Birla Temple, Jaipur.
I gave this picture the name "the temple of symmetry" because of the approx correct proportion of this picture. It has a balanced weight of amount of sky needed in the picture and amount of this symmetrical structure needed in this temple. The over all contrast soothes the eyes not spreading the light too much.
In order to have balanced life, one should give time to both work and leisure...

Thank you.

Shiva

This photo was taken in Birla Temple in Jaipur.
This is one of my normal clicks so theres nothing for me to say about this picture as we all know Lord Shiv is one of many god in India. In this particular picture I wanted the whole statue black and just the colour of sky, it would have given an extra appeal to the picture.
Thank you.

Birds Point of View

This photo was taken near a well in Jaipur.
You might tell many of my pics are from Jaipur, its because I had my study tour there and I actually started to take my hobby of photography to the next level, i.e. I started using camera for my clicks.
This picture gives a brief description of life in Jaipur, its calm and quiet, no one to disturb you and you get time for yourself.
Like this piegon, he is no work in his life, like he has came for an holiday.. observing the beauty of the places around him.
In the fast world that we live in, we have forgot to take time for ourself and explore our interest.
So, start giving time to yourself before time run out and that day will come when you will be counting your last minutes of life graving about the things you could have done but just for some work you stopped yourself... that day will be the worst day.. and all you could do is to fill your eyes with tears and hope to do that thing in your next life.

Thank You, enjoy your life to enjoy your end...

Caged Cultures

This picture was taken at a temple in Jaipur.
This photo give a look of a tradition and social and religious belief when we stand by our dreams, for the society what you may do is not appropriate or is bad symbol, no matter what society calls you.. You shall go by your dreams and be what you want to be afterall its your life, not the society's.
Culture difference and caste has affected a human in many ways, it lead to wars... The world needs to understand the we all are one and there should be a unity in people.
Thank you.

Shine of Traditions

This photo was taken in a temple in Jaipur.
The most fascinating thing about thing about this picture is the light that is spreading all over the beautifully carved pillars which are giving a nice texture and a lightning contrast to the picture. This photo also depicts the rich tradition we observe around us when we are in India. The historical places here like temples and many forts shows the amount of workmanship and the precise work done during that time thought the lacked basic construction amenities.
Hard work they have done will remain for ages and they will be appreciated everytime they are visited...

Thank You.

Aloe Eagle

This picture was taken in Jaipur in the campus of Pearls Institute of Fashion Design.
This photo is of a plant (I dont know its name) close to Aloe Vera family. I focused my camera on the pointed end of the plant and clicked the picture and what I got was this.
This looks like a bird which is flying, this is the most beautiful thing about this. How a persons imagination can change the entire object from what it really is.

Thank you.

The Mystery.

This picture was taken in my college campus Sir J.J. College of Architecture, CST.
The most mysterious picture taken by me. No one ever understood what this is. I m gonna keep this a secret, but if u really wanna know what it is. Here, I give you 4 options...

a) This picture is of a cheese and picture is taken from a hole of the cheese.
b) A pot with holes and picture taken from one of its hole.
c) A picture taken of an object with a dark background.
d) A hollow vegetable or a fruit and a picture is taken from one of its hole.

These are some of the answers that many people gave when they saw this picture. I cant directly say the answers.
You will feel nice if you solve a mystery by yourself... work on it until you discover it.

Thank you.

Falling Diamond.

This photo was taken in Felix Hotel, Bhandup, India.
This picture was a random click of a decoration in the marriage. This picture is a complete focus play and the effect of the light is also very nice. I took many pictures in that place during me marriage ceremony.
This picture picture was not clicked by my camera, but just by my phone. So you may well understand,
Photography doesnt means that you should have a DSL camera... All you need is YOU...
Thank You.

The Source Of Light.

This picture was taken in Felix hotel at Bhandup, India.
First you need to take a look at the picture and think for some minute about what this thing is......
I hope you might have got it... they are the lighting's which are there in the big halls, in my language is called "jhoomer".
I went to this hotel to attend a marriage function. It was quiet boring one, I dint knew any people there and I just sat on a chair and observing things around and then my eyes caught this lightings, they looked very nice and i clicked this picture.
This picture give a high contrast and the brightness of the blue colour attacks the eye while the grey and black colour soothes the eye.
I have got one more picture of this same stuff but in a different angle, but i will show that pic to you later, but first enjoy this picture.

Thank You.

Speed Of Life.

This picture was clicked in Chowpaty at CST Mumbai.
This click is one of my first picture I clicked. This picture is of one of the most obvious things which we can see when we visit any beach, they are the fans which are made of light weight colorful papers and we need to handle it with a wooden stick.
This picture is one of my favorite clicks. As this picture gives a sense of motion and the colours mixing with each other.
This picture also depicts that how fast the city moves.. no time to stop.. no time to look at the clock.. This is the place where I stay.. This is not just a city.. This is a world on its own..
My college is also in CST and once in every month i go with my friends to something I call an "ALL DAY BUNK". We roam here and there, watch movies and eat in a good hotel, have fun. I really love my life and all is because of the friends i have got who help me in all my problems, I m not just faking it, its the truth. Because of them I m there.

Thank You.

Fingers Day Out.

This image was clicked in Pearl Institute of Fashion in Jaipur.
This picture was clicked in a flash of a moment by me as is saw one of my friends fingers coming out from the gap between the louvers of the building.
It gave a mild contrast, soothing the eyes and making it feel like the fingers are playing or looking outside instead if staying inside the dark.
My friend whose fingers is there in the pic, she is always worried about her short nails. I say it really dosent matter, you add a beautiful element to this picture.

Thank You.

Locked In the Cage

This photograph was taken in old city of Jaipur.
One thing I like about this photo is that the

The Electric Angles

This photo was taken in the campus of Ayojan College of Architecture, Jaipur.
This picture is clicked in an abstract point of view. So, you may well get to know that even the most obivous looking things around us can give such an powerful abstract element when viewed in a different angle.
Looking this picture deeply, you will feel yourself getting caught in it.
I dont know what you will feel but the things which I felt was like this. This picture also gives a mild contrasting texture which does not harm the eyes.

Thank You

Beauty of a Leaf

This photo was taken in Jaipur, near the hotel where i was staying, The Heritage Village.
I found the colour of the leaf very abstract when the morning sunlight fell on it. It gave a kind of fluorescent colour shades of green and a bit of binjal colour into the leaf.
This added an effect which i felt was nice. Nothing more to say about this picture in the end human brains says it all... apply your imaginations and look what you get into the pictures.
Thank You.

Jaipur Tunes

This picture was taken in my study tour to Jaipur..
Me and my friends were in Amer Fort, as we entered the fort I saw this man playing an instrument..
I dint know what came in my mind but I clicked a photo of him which was almost perfect one, it gave a perfect blend of Jaipur's rich culture and the background was the typical material from which the forts of the kings were made.
After I clicked this picture and shown it to a friend, she gave some money to him and said me "Try to reward people in need if you are using them in your pictures".
I was not able to pay him as I was not carrying anything except my camera bag.
She taught me a lesson that day... to help the one in need...
In all, this picture will be a perfect start to my blog. Since i believe that the picture can be made priceless when no editing is done over it. Following my principles i will be posting all the naturally clicked picture.
Thank You.
